Trinity United Methodist Church is a warm, caring and outwardly focused community whose mission is simply to bring the love of Jesus Christ to the world. We welcome you to join us in worship, for Sunday School or for any of our other events through the week, month, and year.
Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier and when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
Trinity’s main building is a Victorian-era church, built in 1875. An elevator provides access to the large, second-floor sanctuary, with brilliant stained glass windows, a pipe organ, grand piano and a choir loft. We welcome children of all ages to be a part of our worship services, but child-friendly spaces are available as well.
The church's first floor boasts a banquet hall for both formal and informal social events, including our Wednesday night Gathering service.
On the church campus also is our education building, which houses the Kidz Konnection pre-school and day-care facility. The building also contains our church business offices, open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, and a large social hall that can accommodate large groups and parties.
Call our church office at 814.355.9425 for reservation information. The spaces are free for nonprofits, based on availability, and are offered for a modest fee for others.
We offer children's Sunday School at 9:00 am, traditional worship at 10:00 a.m., and adult Sunday School after worship on Sundays.
Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., The Gathering worship features a come-as-you-are style, and includes a meal (eat-in, takeout, delivery) and fellowship.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 to noon, we offer a Drop-In casual space for coffee and conversation.
Tuesday afternoons at 2pm, visit with Just Friends for coffee and conversation.
Tuesday evenings at 6:30 a group designs and produces homemade greeting cards.
Join us on Thursday afternoons for a Men's Bible Study or our Yarn Arts group (crochet, knit, needlework).
Trinity is a thriving church that celebrates our community in authentic worship and meaningful acts.
EVERYONE is welcome here!
